Cooktop one burner not igniting or heating – Nashville repair?
On my gas cooktop, one of the front burners has stopped working properly – it clicks when I turn the knob but no spark or flame, or sometimes a tiny weak flame that won't stay lit. The other three burners are fine. It's a 4-burner electric-ignition model (KitchenAid I think), around 6 years old. I'm in Nashville and hoping it's not a huge deal like a full replacement – maybe just a bad igniter, switch, or clogged port. Has anyone had a local appliance repair service fix a cooktop burner issue lately? Who was good, what did the repair usually run cost-wise, and did it get that burner firing reliably again?

I had the same no-spark/no-flame on one burner about a month ago – endless clicking, nothing else. After cleaning didn't help, I called NashFix. Tech came out quick, removed the grate/top, found the igniter was cracked and the burner head had some gunk buildup. Replaced the igniter, cleaned the ports/orifice, and tested all burners. Fixed in one visit for around $250-290 with parts and labor – way cheaper than a new cooktop. Their cooktop repair page has some similar burner fixes if you want to check https://nashfix.us/cooktop-repair/ . No upsell pressure, just straightforward and it worked great after. If your cooktop's doing the same on one spot, it might be an easy repair. Hope you get it cooking normally again soon!
