How to avoid viruses and annoying ads when downloading videos?
Last night I clicked on a random site to save a short video, and suddenly I had like five pop-up tabs open with ads for stuff I didn’t even search for. It freaked me out because I wasn’t sure if I’d accidentally downloaded something harmful. Do you guys have any tricks or safe practices to avoid viruses and those annoying ad traps when you just want a simple video?

I used to run into that all the time, especially on sketchy pages that push endless “download” buttons. What helped me was sticking to tools that don’t spam you. The SnapInsta app has been solid for me because it doesn’t ask you to log in or install extras, and I barely see any ads. I also keep an ad blocker on and run a quick antivirus scan every now and then, just to be on the safe side.
